Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat
Welcome to Casablanca! Upon arrival, our driver/guide will greet you and take you on a brief tour of Casablanca’s landmarks, including the Hassan II Mosque, the Habous souks, the Jewish museum, and the Corniche.
After checking in at your hotel in Rabat, explore the quiet medina and enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. Relax in a comfortable riad/hotel with a tasty dinner.
Day 2: Rabat – Chefchaouen
After breakfast, visit Rabat’s highlights: the 15th-century Kasbah of the Oudayas, the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the necropolis of Chellah.
Drive through the fertile fields of Gharb and the forests of the Rif Mountains, arriving in the blue city of Chefchaouen by sunset. Overnight in Chefchaouen.
Day 3: Chefchaouen – Fez
Spend the morning exploring Chefchaouen’s picturesque medina. Then, drive to the ancient ruins of Volubilis for a one-hour tour of this Roman city.
Continue to Meknes, visiting the Bab Mansour gate, the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, the granaries, and the water reservoir. In the late afternoon, head to Fez for an overnight stay.
Day 4: Exploring Fez
After breakfast, explore Fez’s historic sites: the Jewish Quarter, the Royal Palace gate, and the Andalusian-style houses.
Walk through the oldest medina in Morocco, Fez el Bali, and experience its timeless charm. In the afternoon, visit the “Ville Nouvelle” for a cup of coffee and spend the night in the same hotel.
Day 5: Fez – Midelt – Merzouga
Depart for Midelt, passing through the Atlas Mountains and the cedar forest of the Middle Atlas. Visit Ifrane, Azrou, and stop for lunch in Midelt.
Continue to the Merzouga desert, visiting Erfoud and Rissani along the way. Arrive in Erg Chebbi in Merzouga and stay overnight in a local hotel/riad with a Moroccan dinner.
Day 6: Merzouga Desert
Wake up early to see the sunrise over the dunes and have breakfast. Enjoy a camel trek through the dunes and a typical nomadic lunch.
In the late afternoon, visit a nomadic tent, have tea, and learn about their daily life. Return to the hotel for a relaxing hammam and dinner. Spend the night in the desert.
Day 7: Merzouga – Dades Valley
After breakfast, drive towards the Dades Valley, passing through the Todra Gorges.
Take a short walk and enjoy the breathtaking views. Continue to the Dades Valley for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 8: Dades Valley – Marrakech
Drive to Marrakech via the Taourirt and Ait Ben Haddou kasbahs. Visit the spectacular Ait Ben Haddou fort, a backdrop for many famous films.
Continue through the Tizi n’Tichka pass in the High Atlas Mountains, arriving in Marrakech for an overnight stay.
Day 9: Exploring Marrakech
Spend the day exploring Marrakech’s famous sites: the Majorelle Garden, the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, and the Koutoubia Mosque.
In the afternoon, visit Djemaa El Fna, the bustling central square of the medina. Enjoy the vibrant atmosphere with storytellers, musicians, and delicious food. Overnight in Marrakech.
Day 10: Marrakech – Essaouira
After breakfast, drive to Essaouira. Enjoy a fish lunch upon arrival and explore the medina, known for its crafts, silver jewelry, and Thuja wood inlays.
Return to Marrakech in the evening for an overnight stay.
Day 11: Marrakech – Casablanca
After breakfast, transfer to Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca for your departure.
