Day 1: Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Dades Gorges

Departing at 8 AM, we traverse the breathtaking Tizi n’Tichka Pass, enjoying panoramic views of mountain vistas and charming Berber villages. 

Pause for lunch and a tour of the iconic Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the Valley of Roses and Dades Valley, known for its stunning rock formations and traditional kasbahs. 

Spend the night in a cozy hotel nestled amidst the dramatic Dades Gorges, where the crimson-hued cliffs create a mesmerizing backdrop.

Day 2: Dades Gorges – Merzouga Desert Camp

After breakfast, we venture into the towering Todra Gorges, where sheer cliffs rise to over 300 meters, adorned with lush palm trees and traditional Berber villages. Continuing our journey, we head towards the majestic dunes of Erg Chebbi in Merzouga, where the vast Sahara Desert beckons. 

Embark on a camel trek to reach your Berber nomadic tents, nestled amidst the golden sands. As the sun sets over the desert, indulge in a sumptuous dinner under the starry sky, accompanied by traditional Berber music and captivating drumming around a crackling bonfire.

Day 3: Merzouga – Draâ Valley – Ouarzazate

Awake to the magical hues of sunrise painting the desert landscape in ethereal shades. After breakfast, bid farewell to the desert as we journey back to Merzouga by camel. 

Refresh and rejuvenate with a shower at the hotel before embarking on our return journey to Ouarzazate. 

Along the way, traverse the picturesque Draâ Valley, characterized by its verdant palm groves and traditional adobe villages. 

Arrive in Ouarzazate, where the oasis-like setting offers a tranquil retreat amidst the rugged desert terrain.

Day 4: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas – Return to Marrakech

Commence the day with a visit to the UNESCO-protected site of Ait Ben Haddou, an ancient fortified village perched atop a hill, boasting intricate mud-brick architecture and a rich history dating back centuries. 

Explore the labyrinthine streets and towering kasbahs, which have served as the backdrop for numerous films, including “Gladiator” and “Game of Thrones.” 

Departing Ait Ben Haddou, we embark on a scenic drive through the majestic High Atlas Mountains, crossing the Tizi n’Tichka Pass at 2260 meters, offering breathtaking views of verdant valleys, snow-capped peaks, and traditional Berber villages perched precariously on the mountainsides. 

Arrive back in Marrakech in the evening, where you bid farewell to your desert adventure, cherishing the memories of an unforgettable journey through the heart of Morocco.
