Day 1: Tangier – Chefchaouen – Fes
Your adventure begins with a drive from Tangier to the enchanting blue village of Chefchaouen, nestled in the Rif Mountains. Explore its picturesque streets before continuing to Fes.
Along the way, stop at the sacred town of Moulay Idriss and the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. After a traditional lunch in Meknes, known as “The Versailles of Morocco,” visit its historical monuments.
Arrive in Fes in the evening and settle into a charming local riad, where you’ll enjoy a delicious Moroccan dinner.
Day 2: Explore Fes
Start your day with a guided tour of Fes, Morocco’s oldest imperial city. Discover the medieval Jewish quarter, marvel at the grandeur of the Royal Palace gates, and wander through the labyrinthine streets of Fes el-Bali, the oldest part of the city.
Experience the timeless atmosphere of the medina, where artisans practice crafts passed down through generations.
In the afternoon, explore the French-designed Ville Nouvelle and relax with a coffee at a local café. Return to your riad for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Fes – Midelt – Merzouga
Today, journey through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing cedar forests and the charming town of Ifrane, often called “Little Switzerland.”
Stop in Azrou, known for its traditional crafts, before heading to Midelt for a lunch break. Continue south, visiting the towns of Erfoud and Rissani, before arriving in Merzouga at the edge of the Sahara Desert.
Tonight, unwind in a cozy riad and savor a traditional Moroccan dinner.
Day 4: Merzouga Desert
Begin your day with a breathtaking sunrise over the desert dunes. After breakfast, embark on a guided trek through the rolling sands, learning about the nomadic lifestyle and the unique desert environment.
Enjoy a traditional lunch in a nomadic camp and relax in the afternoon. As the sun sets, return to your riad for a relaxing hammam experience and a delightful dinner.
Spend the night under the stars in a Berber tent or in your riad.
Day 5: Merzouga – Dades Valley
After an unforgettable desert experience, travel towards the Dades Valley, following the ancient caravan routes.
Stop at the stunning Todra Gorges, where you can take a short walk and capture the dramatic scenery.
Continue through the valley, known for its impressive rock formations and lush greenery, before arriving at your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 6: Dades Valley – Marrakech
Today’s journey takes you to Marrakech via the historic Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site that has appeared in many films.
Continue through the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the Tizi n’Tichka pass, which offers spectacular views.
Arrive in Marrakech in the evening, where you’ll spend the night in a traditional riad.
Day 7: Explore Marrakech

Day 8: Marrakech – Essaouira
Travel from Marrakech to the coastal town of Essaouira, known for its whitewashed buildings, blue doors, and bustling markets.
Explore the old medina, visit the historic Skala fortress, and enjoy the fresh sea breeze.
Spend the night in a charming riad, where you can relax and savor local seafood.
Day 9: Essaouira – Casablanca – Rabat
Depart for Casablanca, Morocco’s largest city. Visit the impressive Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest in the world, and explore the old medina.
In the afternoon, continue to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Visit the Kasbah of the Udayas, the Royal Palace, and the ancient Chellah Necropolis.
Spend the night in Rabat at a comfortable hotel.
Day 10: Rabat – Tangier
On your final day, return to Tangier. Depending on your flight schedule,
you may have time to explore more of Rabat before your transfer to the airport for your departure.
